I thought Bert would have picked Edin ahead of Tevez on Wednesday, but Bert got it right. I’d personally like to see Edin given a longer run out - he was on fire at the start to the season and I like to think he still has a lot to offer City, this season and next.

“I first came across Jonny when I was at Sunderland and he was on loan. He did a fantastic job and really played a crucial part for us when Roy Keane was manager. He tackles and reads the game well, but just needed that little bit of experience.
